R.C.S College
The College was founded in 1980 by Ram Charitra Singh.
He was born in Mid 20th Century in Kurtha Village.
His motivation for founding this institution originated from the desire
to give a high-quality education to local kids while
also fostering a co-educational atmosphere that empowered both Male and Female.
He had his early schooling and formative years in the community,
where he showed a strong interest in both community welfare and education.
Ram Charitra Singh's determination to increase educational chances for others was strengthened by his upbringing in an area with little educational facilities.
Ram Charitra Singh's legacy is frequently related to greater sociopolitical upheavals in Bihar during his lifetime.
Ram Charitra Singh took a proactive role in a number of community improvement initiatives. Among the projects he worked on were social welfare programs, health and sanitation campaigns, and infrastructural improvements in the community. He passed in 11 August 1998.
